Bamboo carbon is a fascinating substance with special qualities. You will find this product to be a powerful and effective air freshener and purifier in your home and office.

Here is how to care for your pillow:

1. There are 2 or 3 layers to your pillow, depending upon which product you purchased.

2. The outer decorative layer and inner quilted comfort layer can be washed according to the instructions on the product packaging.

3. The functional inner layer containing the Activated Bamboo Carbon should NOT be washed.

4. You can use the pillow as a decorative throw on furniture and bedding to help control allergens and other indoor air pollutants.

5. About every week or so, please gently shake your pillow in order to mix the Activated Bamboo Carbon contained in the functional inner layer.

6. Every 6 months you can remove the functional inner layer containing the Activated Bamboo Carbon and place it outside in direct or indirect sunlight for a few hours. The ultraviolet rays of the sun will vaporize the pollutant molecules the Activated Bamboo Carbon inside has absorbed.
